Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Together with your colleagues, you will contribute to the building of our mining business across Europe. Your role will focus on the development and review of TMF projects and related tasks, mainly for clients in the mining and industrial sectors, drafting tenders, managing applications from the beginning to the end of any work or project and ensuring that the client is always delivered adequate quality. You will work with different specialists, such as geotechnical engineers, mining engineers, environmental scientists, engineers and geologists. Experience handling commonly used design software, such as Civil 3D, CAD, Leapfrog, and Muck 3D, will be considered an advantage.

 

Depending on your experience, training and ambition, you will naturally have great opportunities to shape the role that best suits you and challenges you as an individual, but also develops us as a team and as a company. You will work on a wide variety of projects for our clients together with a group of colleagues with 10 to 30 years of experience in the mining sector, both nationally and internationally.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

We would like you to have the following training, knowledge and experience:

  • We are looking for candidates with a master's degree in engineering ideally with experience working as a tailings or mining waste engineer. You likely have a master's degree in civil, mining, or geotechnical engineering from a technical university, or equivalent qualifications. Your experience will have provided you with a good knowledge of mining infrastructures and the construction process, from feasibility studies and research to the preparation of working documents associated with a mining operation.
  • Experience in soil mechanics, slope stability analysis, numerical modeling and/or hydrogeology, and water balances will be considered additional merit for this position. We would also like you to be interested in the sustainable development challenges facing the mining industry.
  • The position requires the ability to collaborate and communicate both internally and externally so bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English will be valued.
