Overview

Applied Technology and Management (ATM) a Geosyntec Company, is seeking an Entry-level Engineer or Scientist, UAE national to support project needs in the Dubai, United Arab Emirates office. The selected candidate will support coastal, marine, and structural engineering design projects.  We are seeking a candidate to work full-time (40 hours/week) for approximately 6 months.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with engineering calculations using computer-based technical tools;
  • Technical writing of reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals;
  • Data input and analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures;
  • Follow instructions and interact with engineers, office administrative staff, CADD operators (draftsmen), contractors and construction personnel.

Education and Licensure

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, geotechnical, coastal, water resources engineering, environmental science, or related subject. (required)

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience with MatLab, AutoCAD, and numerical marine modeling software. (preferred)
  • Outstanding academic credentials and exceptional interpersonal, technical writing, and problem-solving skills. (required)
